I’ve just tried to export my draft from scrivener by using ‘export draft’ but it put it into text editor rafther than word.
What do I need to do to get it into word?

Export to RTF (or .doc in the new beta - which will become 1.1), then open Word and open the RTF or .doc file. By default on your Mac, TextEdit will be set to open RTF files - this does not mean that Word cannot. In fact, if you use Word to open the exported RTF file (via File > Open in Word), you will see a lot more features (such as footnotes and images if you have them in your document) that TextEdit does not support.
