Exporting PDFs AS PDFs?

I have dozens of PDF files inside my project. I want to export them or remove them from my project and keep the PDFs as PDFs. When I attempt to do an export, there is no option for PDF. How do I do this?

As the Export dialog says, all non-text “Research” files will export in their original format. The options only apply to text files.

I am confused, as when I go to do an export of a PDF, it gives me only the following options:
RTF
RTFD
DOC
DOCX
ODT
HTML
FDX
FOUNTAIN
TXT
MD

It does not give me the option for PDF. Am I doing something wrong? Am I using the wrong method?

See that red box down at the bottom? If you export a PDF, it doesn’t matter what format you choose, you’ll still get a PDF.
