Two things I am constantly shooting myself in the foot with.
A: I go to edit a binder title. But I don’t click the right time or someting, then I think I have done so, and I hit a key. BANG, I’m at the first binder item that starts with that character. Since I normally keep the entire binder folder set open, I sually have to search for the the item I want, click that, then say reveal in binder.
On mac, ⌘+[ and ⌘+] navigate backwards and forwards through the document history. You can then use ⌘⌥R to reveal in Binder.
That said, instead of clicking to edit a Binder name, you can press enter/return, providing the following setting is unchecked: Behaviours/Return Key/Creates new item in…
Ah, I see. Yeah for me it would make outlining freely feel very cumbersome. I’ve used some outliners that require you to use full modifier+key shortcuts to make new rows, but I always liked more how OmniOutliner worked in this regard, it feels more like using a structured text editor than “interfacing”.
