I’d like to suggest a feature for Scrivener: a popup reminder that appears when opening specific documents, but only if a note has been added. It would function like a sticky note attached to the document, reminding you of revisions or tasks upon opening. If no notes are set, no popup would appear—similar to a sticky note on the side of a screen.
This is what the Notes section of the Inspector is for. If you like, you can assign a different color to make it more visible.

Just to add to @kewms’s reply: if you look at the inspector, then there is an asterisk next to any panel which has content.
So, even if you’re in the Comments Inspector, you can tell that a document has notes if there’s a dot next to the Notes icon:
