Find all instances of a word in manuscript

I’m running Scrivener 1 on Windows 10.

Is there a way to ‘find all’ in a manuscript and select all instances of the word I’m looking for?

The goal is to highlight all instances of certain words in certain colors, for example all instances of ‘that’ are highlighted yellow, all instances of ‘look’ are highlighted blue, etc.

When I use the ‘Edit + Find + Find…’ it wants me to put a replacement word in the dialog box and only finds the next instance. If I leave the replacement field blank, it deletes the word.

This is what the Project Search feature is designed to do. Edit > Find > Project Search OR click on the magnifying glass on the toolbar.

Documents that contain the text will be listed on the left, in the Binder Pane. The word you’re searching for will be highlighted.

You can search for multiple words.

Nope, no way to do that, at least none that I’m aware of.

No. That feature is at the very top of my wish list.
