Hi guys! I just purchased the Scrivener 3 on my MB Air (yay!), but I’m struggling with few things. I hope you can help me!
In iOS it’s very easy to remove first line indent when a new chapter begins and then use indents in paragraphs. How is it done in Mac?
How do I sync my project from Mac to iOS. If I’m using Save as and then saving in the Dropbox folder, it says that there is already a file, would you like to overwrite it and so on. How can I sync as easily as in iOS?
Thank you in advance for your help and I’m sorry for these noobie questions.
I’m not sure about the first item; I’m pretty sure you can do that to the output in the compile settings, but I’m not sure how easy it is to do in the editor in Scrivener (except to show the ruler and adjust away the first line indent).
As for the second issue, you just need to edit the version that’s already in the dropbox folder. The changes you make there will sync up to dropbox.com, and so from iOS Scrivener, you can sync your changes as you have been doing.
Thanks for the reply. I solved the indent question: when I create a new sheet, I create it in the iOS Scrivener and tadaa, indents are just the way I’d wanted them to been in my MB Air.
And thank you for clarifying the saving question. I’m happy to hear how wonderful and simple the saving and syncing is in between Mac and iOS.
