Footnotes always in Calibri upon export to Word

I have a problem with footnotes always defaulting to Calibri font when I export to Word. Even though I have the default font in Scrivener set to Times New Roman, it doesn’t seem to affect the footnotes.

It is quite time consuming to go through all the footnotes and convert them to Times New Roman after I have exported. Even new footnotes I add after export still appear in Calibri.

Can someone please tell me how I can set the font of the footnotes so that they stay in Times New Roman after export to Word?

In 1.8, Scrivener should be using the font of the text preceding the footnote for the footnote reference when compiled. What file format are you compiling to and what converter are you using (e.g. if you’re exporting to DOCX, in the Import/Export tab of Tools > Options you may have the choice under Export Converters either to use the built-in “Scrivener” converter or to take advantage of Microsoft Office’s libraries for the conversion.) It sounds like you may have a footnote style set in Word that uses Calibri–I believe in Word 2013 the default “footnote reference” style uses Calibri 11. Modifying the style in Word should in that case update all your references to your preferred format.
