Formatting issues; possible solution?

I want to insert images/graphs in to my document.

Once I compile, can I save to a pages format, open in pages to do these additions, and will pages adjust space for the images to be inserted? Or will pages just screw it all up?
If pages won’t work, would something else?

Many thanks.

Well, you can insert the images in Scrivener, you just can’t flow the text around them.

Scrivener doesn’t directly support the Pages format, which Apple has not published. We recommend Word as the best transfer format between the two.

Once you get the document into Pages, though, what you’re asking is really a Pages support question. The formatting behavior should be the same whether the document originated in Scrivener or directly in Pages.

Pages should work fine if you compile to .doc/x format.

It has some solid DTP features that will make it relatively simple to layout, then publish to ePub or PDF, etc.
