I am a registered user of the Mac version and am contemplating buying the PC too. however, I have been trying out the betas for a few days, and noted that during compile I am unable to get an option for Paperback. This option is present in Mac. Also, during compilation if I use the Fiction and Fiction with Parts on the Mac, there is a FRONT MATTER which adds things like titles, names, etc. which also is missing in PC.

Am I missing something here or is that due sometime later? I sincerely apologize if this has been posted before, or has already been addressed in the help file.

Thanks and Warm Regards,

Zubin Garda

There don’t seem to be any settings like the “Paperback” format, but you should be able to recreate the settings if you have to have them on the Windows side of things. The use of the Front Matter folder is also a new version 2 feature, and so isn’t included in the Windows version yet. You can still move a project from one version of Scrivener to the other without any real difficulties, so you could take advantage of the Mac’s more advanced features while the Windows version catches up.
