Front matter with meta data that is nowhere to be found

Hi there,

I searched for hours with no result whatsoever.
I use the Scrivener standard compile format “Modern (Times)” for pdf.

Almost everything works great EXCEPT- the front matter contains meta data I can not edit anywhere:

"Your Name
Your Address
Your phone number
Your e-mail address

(Your agent’s name)
(Your agent’s address)"

I’ve literally tried everything to edit this meta data, but I can’t find it. The general Scrivener setting contains my full address and contact info. The meta data field in the compile section contains my name (there is no field for address).
The project settings don’t make sense to me. I don’t see anything where I can edit the meta data for the front matter. Google gives no results, nothing in this forum either. I copied and edited the Compile format, but I don’t find any settings there either.

Apart from that, I can’t find any meta data field for “Agent’s name” and “Agent’s address” in all of Scrivener anyway.

Can someone please help?

Ofc, if this doesn’t work, I’ll just create a single page with this data to be included, but I don’t understand why I don’t get it to work.

If the title page document has that actual text, rather than placeholders, then it’s just text and won’t update itself.

If it has placeholders, then look at the “tag” tab on the righthand pane of the main Compile screen.

OMG I found the solution thanks to your hint with the title page document. The main info is no metadata, the title and word count on the other hand are.
I wasn’t aware it existed. This doesn’t make sense to me but I just found it in my binder. Where did it come from? Is it created the first time I compiled the document with these settings? Or is it a standard document in every new project?

Would upload a screenshot but it’s not allowed it seems
Thanks a lot though

Probably it’s part of the template project that you started with.
