German translation for Scrivener 3.0

Hi Scrivener Team,

I found one translation issue that may cause confusion for users.
It’s on the dialog window for setting the compile format, especially the section breaks.
I have marked two lines which have been forgotten to correct (maybe).
Both say: “Trenner vor Abschnitten” (Sectionbreak before section).
Shouldn’t the second say: “Trenner nach Abschnitten” - so “Sectionbreak after section?”

Greetings,
Thomas

The second one should refer to separators being inserted between sections, rather than after. Inserting a separator after a section is an optional feature, the one with a checkbox at the bottom. Does that change the translation suggestion?

How do you access this panel? I’ve been trying hard to find it, but to no avail. If you help me find it, I’ll look at the translation

Like so:

  1. Use Ablage ▸ Kompilieren… in any project.
  2. Right-click in the Formats sidebar and select “Neues Format…”.
  3. Click on the “Trenner” compile format pane.

There are two variations to the panel on the right side. The two entries in the Standardtrenner section have one type, and the rest in Abschnittslayouts have the other variant.

Got it. Thomas is right, it should say »Trenner zwischen Abschnitten« in the lower option. (zwischen = between)

Cheers,

js

Thanks. They may have a translation for it on file but we’re looking at a transcription error where the label got used twice. I’ll see they get the suggestions as well though.
