Glitch in spell checking

Working on her novel, my GF has a character named “Remy”. Scrivener is not pleased and marks it with a red squiggly line. No problem, right? Right click on the word, look past the list of spelling suggestions, and select “Learn Spelling”. Except that is not available. In fact the list of spelling suggestions does not exist either. This doesn’t work on her copy of Scrivener or on mine (v3.5.2).

HOWEVER if I misspell the word as “Remmy” I get both the suggested spellings, and the “Learn Spelling” option. It is only when the world is spelled “Remy” that we get this weird behavior.

Anyone else see this? What makes “Remy” magical?

I noticed this behaviour for some words too.

The workaround: context-menu>Spelling and Grammer>Show Spelling and Grammer. Here the buttons to learn spelling are always available.
