I have a lot of documents in my main Scrivener project and I often like to go to a random document and work on it.
Currently, I do this thanks to Random.org or a Python code I have that gives me a random number or a random document name to go to.
This allows me to work on documents that I haven’t seen for a long time and that otherwise I wouldn’t have thought to go for it.
I know there is a ‘Zoom to random’ in Scapple, I wish there was something like that in Scrivener too. It would help a lot.
I’m not sure how much demand there is for something like this. You can tell the Corkboard to number items, though, and then use the random number generator of your choice to pick one.
