Have Mac license, want to purchase Windows license, but discount not working

Hello! I own a license for Scrivener 3 for macOS and I’m looking to buy a license for Scrivener 3 for Windows.

On a previous Windows installation, I installed the Scrivener trial, clicked “Have the Mac version?” and entered my license details, but I did not complete the purchase at that time.

Due to unrelated issues, I had to wipe my PC and reinstall Windows. Upon reinstalling the Scrivener trial and entering my Mac license details, I get a message that my Mac license has “already been used” to purchase a Windows license, even though I never completed the purchase before reinstalling Windows.

Is anyone able to help me out with this? I’d still like to purchase the Windows license, but only if I can receive the discount from having previously bought a Mac license.

Hi.

I think the best thing for you to do is to contact LL directly.
They don’t really discuss licenses on the forum.
Perhaps they’ll answer your question here in a general way, but they won’t get in the specifics of your personal case, for security reasons.
