Header/footer/page number help please

Agreed on ditching Word. Hence my determination to master Scrivener. Any ideas on expanding my front matter. And I need to learn how to make what I want begin in recto.

Recto options appear under Compile > Formatting > Section Layout for each level as appropriate, but only appear for certain output formats (PDF in the example below).

Use the <$BLANK_PAGE> placeholder tag in otherwise empty documents to force Scrivener to leave an empty file in the compiled output. And of course if that file should be generating a sheet of paper, you’ll want to check off Page Break Before in the Inspector, too.
