Hello support. I spent an hour with paddle. I received my license number but it “failed” as I had used it in the past and my computer crashed with it inside.
Paddle couldn’t locate my purchase, asked me the price (it was more than 15 years ago) and the amount. What to do? Thanks in advanced
Marisa, you have to email them at sales@literatureandlatte.com giving the email address to which the license was sent, the date and any other information you have that will help them find your records. They will not deal with it here on the forum for security reasons.
While all of the above is good advice (though do bear in mind it is the weekend so it may take a day or two to get back), something to be aware of is that 15 years ago was 2011, about six years prior to the launch of the version you likely downloaded and tried to activate. That old number isn’t going to work in it. It would activate the old v2 version of Scrivener, but sadly Apple cut off the ability to run older software like that many years ago.
Did you upgrade at some point, to use the newer version that can easily be downloaded from the main site? You could try this form, while you are waiting, if you recall the email address you might have used more recently, and still have access to it.
