Help for non english writers

Hi,
I would like to know how to disable words that automatically turns into english. I mean, I use to write in catalan and always that I write a lonely “i” (that means “and” in catalan) it turns in “I”. Or ’ which turns into “LATER”.
I would like to know how I can disable this automatics turns.

Hi,
Scrivener > Preferences > Text Editing - turn off “Auto-capitalize ‘i’”. As for ’ turning into “LATER”, I’m not sure what you mean - is that in scriptwriting mode or something?

Yes, I write in scriptwriting mode. I am writing a theatre play, but this mode is annoying because I cannot control what I want to do everytime (it goes from action to dialogue and so automatically…) What do you recommend me?

You can just set up your own scriptwriting mode via Text > Scriptwriting > Script Settings. It’s entirely customisable.
