The fiction is used to introduce either major aspects of the world, or for really minor things that are just fun.
And yes, this follows mostly the template of most gaming magazines that used to be put out. Now that Dragon and Dungeon have gone out of print, it feels we’ve entered a new era.
With a few mods, you can use this for a literary mag, or what have you.
