Hi everyone! Recently full screen mode changed. Instead of going to the next line, the line just gets longer and longer, cutting off the begininng of the line. There’s horizontal scrolling that I don’t think I’ve ever seen in fullscreen mode before! I have no idea what I did but I must have done something. It’s driving me crazy. Perhaps someone can help me figure this out, thank you in advance!! Was not able to include a pic here
I don’t see the version of macOS or Scrivener you are using, marked on your profile, it would be good to know these so that we can be sure to be looking at the same context.
Next, could you tell me how to see this, using the tutorial project from the Help menu after resetting it? There should be no options that fundamentally change how the text editor works between macOS Full Screen mode and regular windowed mode, but there are a lot of settings that can change how the editor looks and behaves. If the tutorial acts normal, you’d want to then try adding settings to match what you normally use.
Hi! Thank you. MacOS Sequoia 15.5 and Scrivener Version 3.4
Okay thanks, first thing then is to check for updates, as 3.5.1 is the latest version. I don’t off-hand recall this being anything we fixed, but we might as well make sure it still is a problem in the current version.
Then, if it is still happening, proceed with the given troubleshooting test.
