How do I export styles from one Scrivener project to another?

I would like to export styles out of one project into another and feel as though it has to be incredibly obvious, but I’m just missing it.

Any help would be appreciated.

  • Open the project you’d like to copy styles TO.
  • Choose Format > Style > Import Styles…
  • In the standard open dialog that appears, select the project you’d like to copy styles FROM.

Done!

How do I do this from a PC to a Mac?

Make sure you’re running the Win Scrivener 3 beta, because the release version of Windows Scrivener doesn’t have styles.

Transfer the project to the Mac by any convenient method.

Proceed as directed above.
