How soon a specific tool for create an manage tables?

Hello.
In my opinion, the tool for designing tables is one of the weaknesses of Scrivener
A significant number of users using Scrivener to organize and write scientific papers. Tables are a fundamental need of most of these works.
Do you have in mind designing a dedicated tool for creating and organizing scientific tables within Scrivener (ability to add footnotes to the table, etc … ).
