How to add different design in a written chapter

Hello everyone! I’m writing a novel with Scrivener and I must say that I’m getting along very nicely, but I have a doubt about something I’d like to add graphically and I’m not sure I know how to do it (I don’t even know if it can be done).

Basically, at some point in the text I would like to add notes as if they were written in pen. Having scrivener on the iPad and an Apple pen shouldn’t be a problem, but the process on programs like Procreate is a bit cumbersome.

I know there are supposed to be ways to add images, but can they be inserted into the text and anchored to certain words so that even as I enlarge the text, the formatting doesn’t shift?

Inserted in the text, yes. But Scrivener’s layout tools are relatively limited. For things like reflowing text around images you’ll want to use a more capable tool.
