I need a better way of doing this. I go to compile and I have 365 separate text sheets. I thought this would automatically insert page breaks or else I would have just put all 365 quotes on same text sheet in folder. Instead, each quote is on a separate text sheet inside folder. On compile I’m forced to click 365 boxes for page breaks. That’s completely inefficient. I have several different formatting needs for several styles of books. Is there a better way of doing this, thinking about this, structuring or formatting or any hack I don’t know about?
Have you looked at the File -> Compile -> Separators pane? See Section 24.9 of the manual for more information.
Yes, using the Contents pane to apply page breaks is very inefficient. It’s best used for special cases, such as a dedication or title page.
