How to make the text highlight brighter

I am enjoying this theme…
How do i change the hi-lighted text color?
It needs to be brighter.

Click and hold the Highlighter button in the Format Toolbar.

Or if you mean the colour used when selecting text in the editor, go into the Appearance: Main Editor: Colors tab, and check out the “Text Selection” setting on Mac, and on Windows, “Text Selection Background” and “Text Selection Text” settings.

Settings like this can be changed by applying themes, so if you make modifications to a theme you like, it’s a good idea to use the Manage button to create your own copy of the theme. That way if you switch themes for a while in the future, you don’t have to apply your changes all over again.

  • Windows: use “Save Theme as File…”, then “Import Themes…” to add it to the menu.
  • macOS: use “Save Theme…”.
