A romance novelist who wrote about “How to Murder Your Husband” was convicted in her husband’s killing on Wednesday following a contentious trial in which prosecutors leaned on a “puzzle” of circumstantial evidence to portray the author as a duplicitous spouse who spent months quietly plotting the perfect crime.

At least there is no arguing she was inspired.
And whether she ends up in jail or not, one thing for sure : her agent/publisher just hit the jackpot.
Just like in the movie “Cloud Atlas” when the bum author throws the critic off the balcony.
She was convicted for murder, that is serious jail time. Unless you are in Canada where you might get 5 years.
True, if they let her keep the profits.
One could argue this alone is punishment enough.

She was one of my favourite writers. Real bad that we will not be able to read any more of her works.
