Hi, I’m trying to adjust the default subtitles “Synopsis” and “Text” that are printed when choosing to compile both synopsis and text.
We can remove them. We can add prefix and suffix to titles, and documents.
But I would need to have:
-
A consistent output with an empty “Synopsis” part (nonetheless titled) when there is no synopsis set for that part.
-
A more special output than just the text “Text” and “Synopsis”, like “== Synopsis ==” (here prefix and suffix would do).
Any idea?
Thanks!
Your proposal is one use-case for Synopsis.
Mine differs. If I have a date change in my chapters (I do chapters with scenes), I put the date change in the Synopsis at Chapter-level and read it in from there. It never reads in the scene’s synopsis, because it’s not meant to. It is the only reliable way of not reading in blanks as space, if I don’t have a Chapter date change. Placeholders create unnecessary space where no text exists.
I can see your use-case, valid! However my question doesn’t look to me as a precise use-case, but a more general need (or feature), customization.
