I’m working on a novel and want to be able to see specific scenes linearly - when they’re not linear in the actual novel. For example I want to be able to read through, for editing purposes, scene number 3,6,9,10,11, so that I can read that specific storyline in one go. Is that possible in Scrivener or will i need to compile those into a Word doc? Only issue with that is that i want to edit so will get fiddly making edits in two different programs.

That’s one of the best use cases for Collections (check out 10.2 “Using Collections” in the manual).
