Isn’t it strange that drones become auto deactivated in financial hubs around the world, yet strategic military installations leave their planes all neatly parked in a row waiting for an enemy attack.

I don’t remember where I read it, but the reason they are left out is mission readiness. So that they can get into the sky as quickly as possible when called upon. Not that they have to wait till tractors or whatever haul them out of protective storage.

That was also mentioned in the previous article I read. But I suspect that Russia will scrap that in the future.
