I can't set my default right margin far enough

I’m trying to set my default right margin to 9.5", but the editor in options won’t go farther than 8.14 (and that’s only if I resize the window). Is there a way to zoom out in that editor so I can get the full ruler, or a way to set the margins without using that ruler? Thanks.

What are you ultimately trying to do? The right margin is largely irrelevant to the Scrivener editor. It only matters when you define the “page” as part of the Compile command.

You can set indents without using the ruler, with the Format ▸ Paragraph ▸ Tabs and Indents… window. I can confirm if I set a paragraph to that width, and compile to standard A4 paper, I get a paragraph that extends well off of the page in a word processor. Not sure why you would want that, but you can do it!
