I just opened a new project and chose a template to use as a guide. I’m trying to replace the supplied nonsense text by typing what I want. It’s not allowing me to do that. Is it locked somehow? Thanks for any help.
Which template, and what nonsense text? I am trying to think off of the top of my head of any project templates that use placeholder text and cannot. The usually use empty documents.
Oh… they do come with PDF files as example outputs. You can’t edit PDF files like that and you wouldn’t want to either. That wouldn’t be your book. It’s just an example of what it might look like if you follow the instructions in the top of the file. I suggest reading that info file so you can understand how templates work in general and how to use the specific template you’ve chosen, in particular.
