I usually use Webp image in scrivener because it’s small.
I hope the format doesn’t change.
I love Scapple and Scrivener. You can copy and paste png images from Scriviner to scapple and for images in the research section if you right click on the binder item and choose Open > In External Editor then you can copy and paste into scrivener. Extra steps and would be cool to drag and drop, but not crazy difficult. I do not use Webp images.
