retrieving deleted chapter, how?
It may not be actually deleted, but merely fell in another section of the Binder? You may have to take a look in the other Binder parts. If it’s in Trash, just move it out of there ti where you want it.
Another option: how about Edit—>Undo?

It’s not possible to delete a document in that way.
Check to see if it’s in the Trash.
Check to see if it’s a subdocument of the intended destination.
If neither of those helps, use the project search to find some of the text in the missing material.
