I’m glad it was released, but…

I may be missing a secret handshake, but when I downloaded the released V3 for Windows, composition mode was unusable. Black text on black background. I reset the background to be a real light grey so I can use it.

Am I missing something? The theme colors for Mac are noticeably better. Okay, a lot better. Comparing Mac and Win on side by side laptops, there is something that’s “off” about the windows color schemes. I haven’t seen others mentioning it, so maybe I’m doing something nonstandard that causes it.

File->Options->Appearance->Composition Mode.

Set colors for the Editor, Text, Highlights, etc.

Here are the before and after at my machine (and between for one of the preference settings):
