Icons keep curled corners after all Snapshots are deleted

The bug: After deleting all snapshots, icons in the Binder still show the folded-down corner indicating that they have Snapshots available (From “The Binder” under the Help menu: “Note that if a text document has a snapshot associated with it, the icon will have a curled corner to indicate this.”).

To reproduce:

  1. File > New Project > Empty Project (give it a name)
  2. Select the Untitled item and put some text into it
  3. Just for clarity, Add another item and put some text into that, too
(now both icons are rectangles with text textures, no corner folds)
  4. Snapshots > Take Snapshots of All (and choose Yes in the dialog)
(now the icons have folded-down corners)
  5. Snapshots > Show Snapshots …
  6. Choose the Snapshot, choose Delete, choose OK

If you look at the icons in the Binder, they still have curled corners, even though there are no longer any Snapshots in the project.

I’m seeing this behavior on my Intel-based MacBook Pro running Scrivener 1.03 on OS X 10.4.9. Hardware: 2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 3 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM.

Andrew,

I tried this on my machine and each of the document corners reverted to normal as soon as I deleted the snapshot for it.

iMac, Mac OS X Version 10.4.9, 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo, also using Scrivener version 1.03.

I just replicated the bug on a PPC Mac tower (details below) following the steps above. I tried it twice. The first time (Foo.scriv in the attached archive) only the first icon retained the curled corner. The second time (Foo2.scriv) both have curled corners. The only variation is that in the second one, I renamed the two items by appending a 1 and 2 to their names.

System: OS X 10.4.9, Scrivener 1.0.3, Dual 2.7 GHz PowerPC G5, 4 GB DDR SDRAM
