I'm not megalomaniac, but every time I type an "i" on my keyboard

Hi everybody,
I’m an italian writer and I have double-checked my language settings on Scrivener. Of course everything is set to “italian”, but when I type on my keyboard a single “i” - for example, “i fichi” that means “the figs” - my “i” (definite article) is automaticaly transformed in an “I” (pronoun). Is there something I can do to fix this problem?

1. I’m using Scrivener for Windows on Windows 11;
2. It happens just with Scrivener (no problem with word processors like Words, Open Office etc.)
