When I include an image in my MMD document using scrivener links, the resulting latex code sets the image’s width to text width. However, when I put the image inline (so the image shows in the MMD document, rather than a link), the resulting code sets the width and height of the image to its actual width and height. Is this by design? I would prefer the former behaviour (scale to textwidth) but be able to see my image while editing the document.
There was a recent discussion on this that you may find helpful: Images, Labels, MMD, Latex. I explain how image syntax is generated, as well as how to maintain control over how this works.
