Im playing with Automator and Alfred app. Anyone know of easy way to automate importing? I tend to download a bunch of PDF’s and then upload them later to Scrivener. It would be great to automate that. Any suggestions?
If you use an external script or program to open PDFs in Scrivener, the result of that action will be to import them into the Research folder of the active project. The downside is that if you’re working in that project it will move your editor focus to the PDF that was imported, but I presume that if you’re already working in the project, importing bulk PDFs is no longer an issue.
Actually, I just noticed that if the Research folder is collapsed, then you will not be disturbed (outside of the necessary time it takes to import the PDFs).
