In-app Update for 3.1.1.0 doesn't work

The in-app Updater for 3.1.1.0 doesn’t work (Windows 11; Update from Scrivener 3.1.0)
Error:

There has been an error.
Error trying to install file: destination ${installdir} resolved to
an empty value
The application will exit now.

When I download the installer, everything is working smoothly.

I concur. Same happened over here.
Installation from within Scrivener 3.1.0 failed with the exact same message.

Downloading the installer from the site: installation succeeded without any glitches.
