Include a “notes” document open as a floating quick reference panel every time as part of my layout?

Hello,

For certain Scrivener projects, I systematically open a document entitled “notes” as a floating quick reference panel, which I keep open as a small floating window I am navigating and editing documents in the project.

I was wondering if there is any way to create a layout or other form of configuration so that the “notes” document opens as a floating quick reference panel every time I open the project

It is not an option specific to one panel from one project, but you can indeed change it so that any panels left open in any projects will be restored upon loading. Set Reopen Quick Reference panels when opening projects, in the General: Startup preferences pane.
