Including fractions

Hi Everyone,

I’m new to Scrivener and love it so far. I write nonfiction that includes lots of fractions. I’m not sure how to merge 1/2 to be all one character. I’ve seen talk of it for Mac but not Windows. Anyone able to help me out?

Thanks a million!

Diane

Tools->Options-> Corrections
Check off “Enable additional substitutions”, then click on the Edit Substitutions button.

There you’ll be able to scroll down and check off the most common fractions, and as you type, they will be substituted with the single character for those fractions.

I’m jumping with glee! Thanks so much. After writing four books in Word and pulling my hair out, Scrivener is like a dream.

Sure appreciate your speedy reply!

Diane
