I’m printing onto actual physical 3x5 index cards. It’s sort of working, but the right edge is cut off, as though the margin needs to be adjusted. Any advice? many thanks.

Set the paper size and the margins in your compile format (?)
Just increase the right margin so your printer doesn’t try (successfully or not) to print all the way.
If you are not actually compiling but rather printing directly from what you see in the editor/corkboard, then use File / Page Setup. Increase the right margin.
