Inline Metadata that Project Search can find

I’d like to put markers within my manuscript’s text that are invisible to Compile, but visible to Project Search and Search Collections. I’ve tried and cant seem to make strings within Inline Annotations appear in Project searches for the same strings. Any suggestions?

Ok, now seems to be working??? Next question: How do I hide and show Inline Notes and Inline Annotations in the editor?
