Is it possible to insert images into an ebook? I have some black and white illustrations that I would like to include in my novel, but have not been able to figure out a way to compile with them.

This should be possible, though if the format for the graphics is unusual it might simply not be e-book compatible. You should be using JPEG, PNG-24/8 or GIF. Otherwise I can’t think of anything to suggest other than to drop the graphics where you want the illustrations to appear in the text. It should be really easy to do, just like a word processor, but maybe you’re running into something I’m not thinking of. Let me know what process you are using if it just doesn’t seem to be doing what it should be doing.

The only other thing I’d mention (since it tripped me up at first) is that the images need to be put into a text document - even if the only thing in that document is the image. You can’t just drag image files out of the Research folder into the binder, they need to go into something.
