Integration with Apple Note

I just had a thought that could be categorised a proper addition that might be super cool. How about adding an integration with Apple Note? Basically any note you write, would be easily shared in Scrivener as new document in a folder of a specific document.
Is it this thought to much of a sci-fi idea?

Perhaps just copy/paste from Apple Notes into your Scrivener manuscript. Links back from Scrivener to Notes are not useful, IMHO.

For a possible workaround, take a look at the links in this reply of mine to another thread: Scrivener browser plugins ? - #4 by paulcoholic

It does not involve Apple Notes, but makes use of existing tools.

And you can always keep Scrivener open and use the Scratchpad; it can send a note directly to the Project..

There’s no way of doing this, since Apple notes is private, so copying and pasting is the only way I’m afraid.

(Maybe I’m imagining it, but I have a vague memory from a past WWDC of Apple announcing a framework that would allow developers to integrate with Apple Notes, but the framework never materialised.)

Yeah… think they sort of “forgot” about that.

I did tinker with Automation. It might be possible using that (if you have a specific collection for the notes). But making it robust enough to trust with trying to automate actions in Scrivener felt… hairy. I also looked into whether it could be done via a browser add-on (as in, via JavaScript), but this is explicitly against iCloud Terms and Conditions… so I noped out at this point. I have stories to write and this was starting to smell like day-job stuff

thank you all, sorry i was away and couldn’t reply.
I’m re-worked my idea creating a screvener project called Moleskine :face_with_hand_over_mouth: sync between iphone and Mac to be my notebook of everything.

Popclip has a couple of Scrivener action options that allow you to add selected text to Scrivener.
