Hello everyone! Brian here and I’m new to Scrivener, though I have been trying (unsuccessfully) to write an urban fantasy/paranormal mystery novel for several years now. I’m hoping that this software will help me accomplish that elusive goal. I’m also hoping to me some fellow writers, especially in the genre that I love so much. Feel free to say hello and it is indeed a pleasure to meet you all.

Greetings fellow traveller. Scrivener will not help you put your bum on a seat each day and type words, but it will make the experience more pleasurable.

Welcome Brian!
Scrivener probably has a much different approach compared to your other writing apps, so be sure to go through the Interactive Tutorial. (Help > Interactive Tutorial) That’s the best way to get a head start on learning this software.
Don’t be shy about posting questions. Lots of friendly people with lots of experience here.
