When my book includes things like Introductions, Prologues, and Cast of Characters, do I set those up like a Chapter? Or is there a specific thing called “Prologue”?
If you haven’t yet, I’d recommend at least skimming the chapters on the Compile command in the manual. I’m going to use terminology that’s explained there.
In the Scrivener Binder, yes, these elements should probably be set up like chapters. You may want to use different Section Types for them, though. For instance, if you want to number your chapters, but just use a title for the Prologue, it will need to have a different Section Layout and therefore a different Section Type.
