How to elegantly fix this? I can add a double-space, but is that the recommended solution?
Is that just the tip of “r” ?
I would try to simply increase the right margin a hair. (In scrivener. Keep your KDP setting the same.)
It’s the word ‘for’ I just put it in a new line, and it worked. I did that because I was unsure of how fussy Amazon would be. This was a sure-shot in the first go. 
If you are happy, so am I.
