iOS 14 - Heads-up: No way to access non-Apple fonts in Scrivener

Ah, OK. I’ve never used the System Profile thingy (or even know what it is…). I hope it’s sorted soon.

Glad I saw this before I started a new thread.

Just a heads up… when I installed a font through Scrivener, even though it isn’t available for selection in the app, it IS available. If you change the font on a desktop machine (PC or Mac) to the new font you installed on your iPad, even though it’s not visible in the menu, it will show up correctly and continue to be used.

I changed my font to the new one on my desktop and then went back into the project on my iPad and highlighted it and set it as the default formatting for all projects. Not the most convenient way, but it works, and I imagine most of us that have Scrivener for iOS also have it for either PC or Mac (or both like me).

PS: I don’t know if changing it in the current retail version of Scrivener (1.9) will work or not. I’ve been exclusively using the Scriv 3 Beta for PC for over a year now.
