I almost never use the IOS app, so maybe I’m missing something, bjut when I didn try to use it recently, I noticed some odd behavior. One reason I don’t use it is that I’ve often had sync issues when I’ve tried, so I was extremely careful about that. Saved and shut down Scrivener on a desktop Mac, waited until Dropbox synced, then while still near the desktop synced the project on an Ipad. I didn’t however, open it, just checked that the sync had finished in the project area. Later, away from the desktop I opened the progect to find the chapters and scenes randomly scrambled. There was even a new blank scene. I didn’t spent a lot of time looking at the contentsof the scenes, just opened one or two in order to detemine if the content was there. Then I closed the project without changing anything. Later, on a Mac, (not the original one) I reopened the project and everything was in the correct order. So it wasn’t a suyncing problem. Later, as an experiment I repeated the process with the same result. So apparently not a random problem.
Are you possibly viewing search results on the iOS device, rather than the main Binder? The search results are sortable, but sorting them won’t affect the underlying Binder order.
