In the last few years iPadOS went through some significant changes, such as better mouse support, windowing options and the like. I was wondering if a new version of Scrivener for iPad is in the works. The last update was two years ago.

Yes, I do concur that Scrivener on iOS is in need of updating. There are several key features that do not seem to work anymore. I hope L&L is able to update the iOS app using Apple’s current frameworks.
I’ve pretty much given up on the iOS version. I just use the mac version on my macbook and mac mini now.
